Permanent Makeup Laser Removal

Tattoo (permanent makeup) is an indelible, lasting makeup. It is made with a special device that injects the pigment shallowly under the skin, as in a tattoo. Allocate permanent make-up of eyebrows, lips and eyelids.

The result of a tattoo lasts from one and a half to three years. Regular eyebrow dyeing with paint or henna lasts many times less - up to a maximum of 7 weeks; after this period, you need to re-color the eyebrows.

In these cases, the usual correction is performed only on the existing hairs; tattooing, on the other hand, allows you to significantly correct or completely change the natural shape, as well as forget about constant corrections and save time on everyday regular makeup.

In some cases, over time, the permanent makeup of the eyebrows and eyelids becomes darker, acquiring a blue or gray “faded” tint; also sometimes the client would like to change the shape or color of the existing permanent eyebrows. In these cases, we do recommend removing the permanent makeup.

Tattoo removal zones are brows, lips, eyelids (interciliary space and arrows).

Tattoo Removal Methods

  • Overlap with another tattoo - a new one is applied over on top of the old one tattoo;
  • Removal with a remover - a special preparation that destroys the pigment in the skin. Not recommended as it can cause scars, especially on sensitive skin;
  • Diathermocoagulation - tattoo removal with high-frequency electric current. It is not recommended, since after diathermocoagulation, rehabilitation is needed, and scars may appear with improper care.

The safest way to remove a tattoo is with a laser. It heats and “breaks” the pigment driven under the skin, and it is excreted from the body through the lymphatic system, that is, in a natural way. The laser removes the tattoo without pain and anesthesia, does not damage the skin, and does not require a long recovery. In this case, the result is noticeable after the first session.

Advantages of Laser Tattoo Removal

  • Without pain. The procedure is well tolerated without anesthesia, even by patients with a low pain threshold.
  • Efficiency. This DISCOVERY PICO laser, thanks to its shorter pulse durations and high peak power can effectively pulverize even the deepest skin pigment.
  • No marks or scars. The laser affects only the pigment and does not injure the skin.
  • Suitable for all skin types.

Why Do Clients Choose to Do Permanent Makeup Laser Removal?

  • the desire to change the shade of the applied pigment;
  • blurring or gaps after applying the previous permanent makeup;
  • unsuccessful application of permanent makeup in the eyelids, brows and lips;
  • unsymetrical eyebrows, uneven pigment, pigment migration or eyebrow fading.

Removal of permanent makeup does not require preparatory measures, but before the procedure it is necessary to consult a specialist. This is necessary to determine the area of treatment and identify possible contraindications. The procedure itself does not take much time and is quite comfortable, anesthesia is usually not required.
