Permanent Eyebrows Aftercare Instructions
Permanent makeup is a process, patience is a key! Please be aware that you might not see your desired results until after your touch up appointment.
Immediately after your procedure, you might experience minor redness and your brows might be a little sore. This will subside in a few hours. Also, your brows will appear darker and more defined right after your appointment. As you are healing, they will become anywhere from 20 to 60% lighter and the pixels will soften up.
Most people experience minor flaking (this is normal) and your brows may look dry. We highly encourage you to NOT PICK THEM and let the dryness fall off naturally. This way your skin will take the most amount of pigment in. If the flakes get picked off prematurely, it may result in patchy spots in your brows.
Throughout healing (usually 5-8 days) your brows might get lighter (this is normal, too). What happens is your fresh layer of skin has healed over your brow “tattoo”. Give them a few weeks and your brows will become more visible again! Healing process increases with age.
You might experience itchiness in the brows after the 5 days for up to 2 months due to the healing process of the dermal layer.
We could not guarantee how you will heal as your skin type and what you expose your skin to may have an effect on your healed results. Follow all aftercare instructions as directed to reach the best results.
Use of appointment:
You will be provided with one, but directions will be given by your artist individually, based on your skin type and procedure.
Things to avoid:
↠ All sorts of MOISTURE (direct water stream, sauna, steam in a hot shower, sweat as you work out or get extremely hot);
↠ Makeup, creams, exfoliants on your brow area until the flaking stops (can be anywhere from 4 to 14 days);
↠ Sun exposure as you cannot use SPF on your brows now; once flaking is gone, please find your perfect SPF and use religiously on your brow area to protect the color;
↠ All sorts of TOUCHING: itching, scratching, getting facials, massages, touching them yourself. Pretend they are not there and let your skin do its thing ♥
